Is VOYDEYA right for me?
What is VOYDEYA?
- VOYDEYA is an oral medication taken with ULTOMIRIS® (ravulizumab-cwvz) or SOLIRIS® (eculizumab) designed to help treat ongoing symptoms of anemia, such as fatigue, due to EVH in adult patients with PNH
How do I know if I have EVH?
-
Some people living with PNH who are on ULTOMIRIS or SOLIRIS can
continue to experience anemia. Anemia can lead to fatigue that
impacts your ability to do the things you want, and in some, the
need for blood transfusions - You may be experiencing EVH if you have:
- persistent symptoms of anemia, such as fatigue, and sometimes the need for blood transfusions
- low levels of hemoglobin
-
high levels of immature red blood
cells (reticulocytes) - Because ongoing anemia can have different causes, including iron deficiencies or bone marrow failure, it is important that all causes are ruled out
I’m currently taking ULTOMIRIS or SOLIRIS. Will adding VOYDEYA impact my current treatment?
- VOYDEYA is added to ULTOMIRIS or SOLIRIS to treat ongoing anemia due to EVH without disrupting your current treatment
My child has PNH. Can they take VOYDEYA?
- VOYDEYA is approved for adult patients 18 years of age or older with PNH. The safety and efficacy of VOYDEYA for the treatment of EVH in pediatric patients (<18 years old) with PNH have not been established
Clinical studies
Who participated in the VOYDEYA clinical trial?
-
VOYDEYA has been studied in adult patients 18 years of age or
older who
had PNH and were experiencing ongoing anemia due to EVH, and who have been on a stable dose of either ULTOMIRIS or SOLIRIS for at least 6 months
was studied >
What is a FACIT-Fatigue score?
- The Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy (FACIT)-Fatigue score is based on a questionnaire that patients in the study answered to track their level of fatigue and how fatigue impacted their daily activities and function
-
FACIT-Fatigue scores can range from
0 to 52, with higher scores indicating
less fatigue - The average FACIT-Fatigue score for patients at the start of the study was about 34 points
- People without PNH have an average FACIT-Fatigue score of 43.5 points
